You control your connection

Account and
data deletion.

Use these instructions if you have connected a social account to Under Ellum and want to revoke access, remove the connection, or request deletion of associated information.

Effective August 5, 2026Last updated August 5, 2026

1. Revoke access on the social platform

If Under Ellum social-account connections are introduced and you authorize one, you may revoke that authorization through the relevant platform’s settings for connected apps, business integrations, security, or permissions.

Revoking access prevents future use of that authorization. Platform labels and menu locations may change, so consult the platform’s current help center if you cannot find the connected-app setting.

Important: revoking access on a platform may not automatically delete information already held in Under Ellum service records. Follow the deletion-request step below if you also want associated information removed.

2. Email a deletion request

Send your request to privacy@underellum.com from an email address that Under Ellum can reasonably associate with you, your organization, or the connected account.

Use a clear subject such as “Connected account data deletion request.” We may ask for reasonable verification before acting so that another person cannot delete your account information without authority.

3. Tell us what to remove

Include enough information to identify the requested connection:

  • your name and business or organization, if applicable;
  • the social platform involved;
  • the connected username, Page name, channel name, profile URL, or account identifier;
  • whether you want the connection removed, associated data deleted, or both; and
  • any related Under Ellum project or service information that will help locate the records.
Never send secrets: do not email your password, access token, refresh token, login code, recovery code, backup code, or security answer. Under Ellum does not need those items to process a deletion request.

4. Information covered by a valid request

Subject to the necessary exceptions below, a valid request may cover:

  • the Under Ellum record of the connected social account;
  • platform account identifiers and profile information received for the connection;
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens associated with the connection, if such integrations have been introduced;
  • connection permissions, publishing settings, and destination mappings;
  • associated technical connection records; and
  • other service records reasonably associated with the requested connected account.

If you want client-supplied media, captions, approvals, or other project materials deleted as well, identify those materials specifically in your request.

5. Necessary exceptions

Under Ellum may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, financial or transaction records, demonstrating authorization or approval, protecting other users, or maintaining backup integrity.

Information retained for one of these reasons will be limited to the applicable purpose and will not be used to reconnect or publish to a revoked account.

6. Verification and processing

Under Ellum will review requests and may seek clarification or reasonable proof of authority. We will acknowledge and process valid requests within a reasonable period based on the request, the records involved, security needs, and applicable obligations.

Under Ellum has not adopted a fixed public completion deadline for every deletion request. If a request cannot be completed as submitted, we will explain what additional information is needed or what limited information must be retained.
